The best part about all of this is how it exposes just how stupid the wackadoodle leftists are.
The First amendment applies to the GOVERNMENT censoring free speech NOT THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
A great example of that is the Biden administration pressuring Twitter and Facebook to CENSOR all Hunter laptop content and all dissenting COVID/Vax content - all of this was proven in "The Twitter Files"
Jimmy Kimmel's JOB is to sell advertising to the widest possible audience - it's how all net/cablers make their money. Period.
Kimmel's position is anti conservative/moderate/Republican - which is OVER HALF THE COUNTRY.
Kimmel has alienated MORE THAN HALF of the viewing audience. consumer base. This drives viewership and therefore REVENUE down for the studio.
Kimmel made 100% false accusations.
Nexstar Media - the largest ownership group of ABC affiliates said they would not run Kimmel anymore - he was being pre-empted as they, and their VIEWERS did not want to be associated with Kimmel.
Therefore Disney pulled the plug. The first amendment does NOT protect you from speech in the workplace or the private sector.
Disney is in the business of making money - Kimmel and the radical loonies are not supported by the majority - this is a SMART BUSINESS DECISION.
Remember Michael Jordan? "Hey, Republicans buy sneakers, too."
It's my understanding that the shooter has been confirmed by multiple sources (including family members) to be a radicalized leftist cohabitating with a transitioning person -(all of which are his rights to do) - by the FBI, Utah Gov, his lovers family has confirmed this. Kimmel's comments were false - objectively. People are tired of the hate - and the [private sector is in the business of making money - the hate is getting in the way of profits, period.

Every time I see an outraged "free speech/ Facism" tirade I laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh... because it's provably FALSE to anyone with half a brain. Anyone NOT understanding any of this should not comment as you simply do not understand how the real world and business works.

It's amazing - when the Dems were LITERALLY censoring speech - their idiot fan base was crickets - but when one of their own gets caught spewing provable lies and gets punished for it they are all up in arms screaming about the first amendment - which doesn't even apply to this situation.

Personally I don't think what Kimmel said was too bad but the Corporations that own the ABC affiliates have every right to cancel shows as they see fit. All Trump said is that is was probably because he had low ratings. That website is a Left leaning website so not surprised the made stuff up to get their readers riled up.
