Hoping for the trifecta tomorrow. Detroit in a huge slump.

interesting, I could see them best in the AL but the NL as well? I was just pondering that, the Phillies, Mets Dodgers ect seem like another level. why are the brewers so low? I wonder what that is based on

It might be counter-intuitive but I would suspect it takes into account that the WC in the NL could be Mets v LA as it stands, that could go either way - then the winners would face Philly - so they can't all progress. The Brewers are probably so low because they would have a tough time against even the Padres, then the winners of that NYM/LAD/PHI love triangle. If they come through that they don't fancy the Brewers to beat the Mariners in the World Series. They've got a good record, but an incredibly tough route to a title. You said it yourself, the NL seems on another level - that's why the Brewers are so low.

Its all bollocks, as I often say - check out what your bookie might be saying and that's going to be closer to the truth.

To Win the World Series
+440 Philadelphia Phillies
+550 Los Angeles Dodgers
+750 Seattle Mariners
+750 Milwaukee Brewers
+800 Toronto Blue Jays
+900 New York Yankees
+1400 Detroit Tigers
+1400 Chicago Cubs
+1600 San Diego Padres
+1600 New York Mets
+1700 Houston Astros
+2000 Boston Red Sox

To win the ALCS
+290 Seattle Mariners
+290 Toronto Blue Jays
+390 New York Yankees
+550 Detroit Tigers
+700 Houston Astros

thanks for the impute, I understand you are into odds. So the truth is human intuition over analytics? The other way to look at it is there could be money to be made there, an anomaly to be exploited. What if you apply machine learning to betting odds, that seems like a winner to me. That's the point of AI isn't it, its smarter than crowd sourcing...Seriously, using AI to set betting odds, I hadn't thought of that.

That seems flawed because they are giving each league a 50% chance of winning the WS. The Brewers, Phillies and Dodgers are probably the three best teams in MLB and would be favored against any AL opponent including the Mariners.
