Cleveland down 4-2 in the 9th. This game may have no significance other then the M’s know about our win prediction thread and want me to win
Uhh it will clinch the 1st round bye which is pretty significant.
Bye was clinched with a Cleveland loss. We own tie breaker with 89 wins. The best they can do is get to 89 wins now.

Cal switching to DH. Rivas out, Garver in.

Oh I thought you were talking about that game not ours. Yes with the BJs and Yanks winning we are pretty much locked into the two seed.

I just checked after I heard this...did you know the M's are 21-3 at home, since the trade deadline?

Why would they pull Rivas for Polo?

Totally accurate....trade deadline was July 31. So, from Aug 1 to now, they have played 24 home games and won 21 and lost 3. Now the 31st of July was technically post-deadline, so I will give you 22-3.

Because they want to keep Cal's bat in the lineup and Polanco needed to play to keep his bat going ....so Polo goes to 2b
