I know that who I root for matters and will definitely affect the outcome, so I'm rooting for the Yankees.

Why? Because if the Saturday game is at 1, I'll miss most of it due to prior commitments and if it's at 5 I'll be able to watch the whole thing.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I don't even know what that means. A Prior commitment that might make me miss the 6th playoff game since the Twin Towers were still smoldering???

I will be happy either way. I hate the Yankees and our fans but if they win I can be drinking at normal cocktail hour instead of day drinking. lol
maybe he's getting married
staying married! yes close!

Why would the start time of the game in Toronto depend on whether they're playing the Redsox or the Yankees?

I am thankful I am retired. I feel bad for people that have to work and won't be about to watch any of those games.

It seems odd that they would pigeon hole an entire series into day games and put the other one into all night games. seems like they should alternate. I did see that if New York gets eliminated in game 3 or game 4 that the Seattle Detroit series will get flexed into the later slot for the remaining games.

With the rain delay and possibly the Yankees getting knocked out early it might not matter, but why the hell wouldn't
you have both games in a primetime slot and fans can pick what game they want to watch and or switch back and forth?
It's all on pay-through-the-nose cable, fubo, sling, youtube whatever anyway. People are paying their money, let them
pick their game when they are mostly likely to be home. The very best MLB playoff game doesn't really have impressive
ratings, so what the hell is the difference? Matinee weekday MLB playoff games are really fucking dumb. Insulting actually.

Yankees have now gone, so they have confirmed that Friday's game is now moved 3.5 hours later to

5:08 p.m. PDT
8:08 p.m. EDT
1:08 a.m. BST

I hope we don't feel the way Phillies fans feel after this 11th inning walk-off (with 2 outs)
