I can't help but think that If they had gone with Gilbert in game 1 that the Series would have already been over in a sweep.
Do you know why they pushed Gilbert all the way back to #3?
Let me rephrase that. Does anyone know why they went with Kirby and Castillo 1 and 2?
I will take a guess.

Game 1 Home
Game 2 Home
Game 3 Away. Gilbert might be the go-to guy on the road?

Mize looks tough early on. Offense better get going and quick with Miller in there.

Just one time it would be nice if we came out actually prepared to hit.

Exactly but Mize is really good. Era under 4 is solid.

Solid start for Miller. Throwing hard getting weak contact against thier top 3

It's early. It's not raining. Mariners will get the bats going in the 5th and 6th and we go home with a new tiger-skin rug!

However, Juliooo was not selective enough and had a BB easily. Seven pitches from Mize and only one was in the strike zone. But being aggressive, he made contact on 5 of them. I'll take aggressive if it means not striking out.
J-Rod is prepared to hit.
