Was Miller really done after 55 pitches?

No, he was done after 44 at the end of 4. He is statistically one of the worst pitchers when you look at him second time through the order. It doesnt need a genius to see an OPS of
.923 second time through to realise he shouldnt be a starter.

He was really starting to get hit hard. Sadly our offense couldent come through in some really big spots. Kept them in it. Horrible momentum!!!

Offense would have to go bananas to keep up with this team. Why are they hitting our guys all of a sudden. Yeah Miller to me seems like a good bullpen piece or trade bait possibly. What I wouldn't give to flip a couple of our young arms for a Witt or Caminero.

We've given these guys hope and that is dangerous.

Knowing your pitching is not going to win it for you as an offense you've got to do better.
