It's kind of obvious, this Blue Jays team is better than we are. They make contact and destroy pitches in the zone. They hardly ever miss a good pitch.

I would really love to see a World Series once before I die, but I don't think we have the horses to beat this team in a long series.

It's a disappointing result to lose the upper hand in a series, but it's nowhere even close to biggest choke in sports history. The Blue Jays just got done bashing the Yankees. They have one of the best lineups in baseball.

Basically the entire Mariners team had their heads up their asses yesterday. How that happens in the middle of a league championship series is beyond me but these guys don't appear to really want it the way you'd expect a team that's never been to a WS to want it. Maybe none of these guys feels any connection to the city or its past and just want to get back to their actual homes and enjoy the offseason. I really don't know, but i find it disgusting.

In 70 years of life this Mariner fan has attended two LCS games, both in Seattle.

Last night Max Scherzer shut down the Mariners while 25 years ago Roger Clemens shut down the Mariners on a one-hitter in the 2000 American League Championship Series:

Baseball has changed as Scherzer went 5.2 innings on 87 pitches while Clemens tossed a complete game on 138 pitches.

Having two straight starting pitchers in the 8th inning give up a double to the 8 hitter and a bomb to the 9 hitter is fucking ridiculous. Two straight guys from the staff that coming into the season was supposed to be the best in baseball...walked out to the mound in the 3rd, dropped their pants and took a shit on the rubber. Only the Mariners could do this to their fan base. Both games right there to be had, and our rotation can't get through the lineup once. And then completely faceplant after. Dan did the right thing in pulling Castillo....he looked like a fucking deer in headlights. The moment is just too big for these guys.
