For you Michael K.
Re: For you Michael K.
Since we blew the SB 5 years ago our playoff success has consisted of beating a 9-7 Lions team that was probably the worst in history to make the playoffs, beating a Vikings team 10-9 because Blair Walsh missed the shortest FG in NFL playoff history and beating and Eagles team that barely scraped into the playoffs and had to go with a 40 yo gimp Back up QB. Yeah, I think I would like a higher ceiling.

And, besides just moving him upstairs, I would also be fine if he hired a hot shot OC and stayed the hell out of the way.

Carroll needs a midget strapped to his shoulders (think Master-Blaster from Beyond Thunderdome) who's only job is to throw challenge flags and call time-outs.

Yep that is kind of my idea for the first round of the draft. Hire a consultant whose only job is to make that first pick. Like an opener in baseball then they take over for rounds 2-7.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 11:40 amCarroll needs a midget strapped to his shoulders (think Master-Blaster from Beyond Thunderdome) who's only job is to throw challenge flags and call time-outs.

... or just re-hire Scot McCloughon.
Re: For you Michael K.
Dat'll work too. I swear if they pick another no name in the first round that has everyone wondering who the F is that I will lose it.

Schneider hasn't done that well in the middle rounds lately either.
Re: For you Michael K.
Ok maybe the new guy can be more of a traditional baseball starting pitcher and go the first 6 rounds and let JS come in and make the 7th round pick.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 3:49 pmSchneider hasn't done that well in the middle rounds lately either.

If you counted the number of all-pro selections among players drafted after 2012, those drafted by the Seahawks would probably be at or near the bottom of the list of NFL teams. Even if you make allowances for average draft position over those years they still have been awful.
