I know we can still pull this off, but why did we have to pick tonight to have our flukiest game of the season. Rivas barely misses a two-run jack, and two straight innings with the bases loaded and a pitcher who isn't making his pitches at all gets hard-hit double plays? You can't make this shit up. I swear, we so have the deck stacked against us.

Doesn't help that Gilbert no-showed yet again.

I remember really early in the season he was one of the guys I didn't want to see, like he was the Ferguson. He got his shit together pretty quickly and has mostly kept it in a nice orderly pile.

What's this Ferguson bashing about? THe guy has held lefties to a .280 slug this year. Do you guys get that? He's phenomenal at what he needs to do which is get lefties out. We need a 2nd lefty and so far he's the best option for this team

He's repeatedly fucked up as a mop-up guy, walking runners while trying to strike guys out trying to paint corners. He comes in and makes bad games worse.

He got that role because he's fucked up in high-leverage situations so much.

There's a reason they only bring him in for certain low-leverage situations. He's earned it over and over.

3 runs is not insurmountable now that we are into their pen. Worst case we make them use their high leverage arms tonight.

I just felt we needed to creep one closer in that last inning. 2 runs would have been a little pressure on them.

Now they are playing with total freedom against Brash - no more breathing space here.
