Just 96 yards of offense for the Raiders. But Pete must have been pretty happy because they dominated the punting game 283 yards to 106.

The odds makers had the raiders with the better season. That's how poorly trading smith and dk was viewed. Thats what js gets credit for, not caving to their contract demands. That's an alternate reality, not only smith and dk on the team but with cap eating contracts.

The off season moves have worked out well. The "over the hill" Lawrence has been a stud. I really like the makeup of the team now. Trading smith and dk seems like addition by subtraction with a couple of draft picks as a bonus. Of course used one on milroe. Could have still used more help on the Oline

This is when Pete knew he'd made the wrong choice, but it was too late.

I'm not sure why anyone thought the Rams would be down this year. Who of any significance did they lose in the offseason?
Who thought they were going to be down? Seems like every time I heard anyone talk about the NFC West this year it was all about who was finishing second to the Rams.

At first glance I was like "why the Hell is Pete wearing a "Bro Tank"" LOL

Sorry, the game has passed him by. Not sure who besides Vegas didn't see that. I really think that having a guy like him in a city like Vegas is a recipe for disaster. He once allowed an entire game week practice to be a discussion about how they were going to protest the Anthem...and then came out publicly and admitted that might have been a mistake!

Letting this guy coach millionaire twenty something men in the Sin City is crazy.

Yeah, I was wondering that as well. With the Rams and 49ers its like 1a and 1b isn't it, hard to slide a knife between them. Its the entire organizations, Mcvay or Shanahan, Snead or Lynch, and the teams themselves. That's been my deal, my annoying optimism. The seahawks could become part of that conversation.

See where three of the coaches hired along with MM have already been fired, is that correct? Things could be worse, I am a glass half full kind of guy. A team like the Titans are at the other end of the spectrum. Remind me again why they fired Vrabel? Its funny, they have already fired his replacement and he just goes back and spanks them. Vrabel was who intrigued me as a PC replacement. I will be interested to see how he does in New England

That's the second weekend in a row (the Jets last weekend) that a team has been held under 100 yards in total offense and I believe that it had been several years since someone got held to under 100 yards. With today's rules it's virtually impossible to not get over 100 yards of total offense yet two teams have done it in back-to-back weekends. Even so, our minus-7 yard day in 1979 will last forever.
