Re: Breaking: Hawks trade for a WR
I was mainly going by his 20 PFF grade for pass blocking. To me that is a huge weakness.

Yeah, I go back and forth on those ratings. So, he basically can't pass block, but as a unit the O Line gives up fewer sacks per game than all but one team in the entire NFL? That seems strange to me. I was a much bigger PFF guy before I heard that they basically just hire guys off the street to grade players. If you have never played the game and don't understand assignments? How are you grading an O Lineman? Who decides what DB made the mistake in zone coverage? I have played and coached, and I am not sure I would be any kind of an expert on scoring guys on the O Line, or in pass coverage.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Nov 07, 2025 8:21 pmI was mainly going by his 20 PFF grade for pass blocking. It is obviously better than nothing, but I am just not sold that some out of work insurance sales man or market analysist is going to be able to tell me who's job it was to pick up the blitzing LB or cover the drag route versus the guy that ran an out and up on the same side of the field.
Which is funny coming from me, but the organization probably needs the benefit of the doubt. We all want Bradford and Woolen to stand in front of a firing squad....but the guys paid to make decisions on a football team that currently has the best record in the NFC? Disagrees.

Krupp doesn't seem to have been a consideration in the Rasheem trade

I am sure they get thousands of applicants for every open position. Who doesn't want a job watching football all day. So guessing in the interviews they ask more than, "Do you like football". I am sure they are able to at a minimum hire guys that have played and/or coached HS or small college football.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Nov 07, 2025 10:50 pmYeah, I go back and forth on those ratings. FFS his name is KUPP NO R! Then you post the injury report with his name spelled correctly.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Nov 09, 2025 12:59 pmKrupp doesn't seem to have been a consideration in the Rasheem trade
