Yeah agree but why wait so long. Should have been there as soon as Colt made his debut essentially blocking him.

Marine layer podcast had an interesting idea. Sign the Japanese starter and trade Kirby for either Marte or Duran. I would do that.

Take your pick though DT. Duran's got speed that's a huge plus for me. But Marte plays a position of need. Duran strikeouts at a higher rate too. I just feel we could benefit from some more speed on the bases. Both probably require pitching. Both upgrade your lineup, maybe slight edge to Marte.

The Mariners are genuinely out to fucking lunch if they think all these prospects are turning into legitimate MLB talent.

I'm not saying that's Arroyo, but if this team is nothing but former prospects a few years from now... they've failed this fanbase miserably.

Marte yes, but I have zero interest in Kwan and his noodle .705 OPS bat as a corner OFer. Zero idea why so many fans are in love with him. And why would the Guardians trade him if he is so great???
