The Rivers thing just seems like a bad idea.

Hurts the first player in NFL history with two turnovers on the same play as part of his five-turnover night. OUCH
He was so incredibly bad. I mean, Herbert sucked....but he looked like an All Pro compared to Hurts. Philly is such a hard team to figure out. It wasn't that long ago, weren't they 10 and 1, lost every game down the stretch and then got bounced in the playoffs...only to come back the next year and win the Super Bowl? So odd.
I missed a lot of the first half, thus some of the picks etc., but it's not characteristic of Hurts to suck, IMO.
Also, he literally laid a game winner, perfectly in the hands of Diva AJ Brown in the endzone that Brown dropped.
What I remember is Brown dropped a lot of passes, including some pretty routine ones (by diva standards anyway).

Fairly comparable stats. I guess we'll find out how much of a factor the Jones injury is.

Did anyone see that coming lol. Five years out of the league and he wants to look at this hungry healthy D in Seattle on a wet Sunday flat-cold?

That is some crazy shit, but you have to respect the combat Purple Testicle Medal he will be awarded as they cart him off the field

Still, my memory of Rivers the few times we faced him is that he usually hosed us, didn't make mistakes and won. Old Man Rivers. Listened to his presser the other day and ffs, he talks even more than Greg Olsen. They should mic him up, in case this is really his last game this time.

It's crazy. 44 yrs old and been out of the league for 5 years. If he isn't flat out killed, he'll likely break a leg, tweak his back or pull a groin. This has got disaster written all over it. I have a feeling the Colts will rely heavily on the run. But who knows.

What SHOULD be the focus after yesterday is how both coaching staffs are absolute idiots. Tampa blows a two TD lead because they believe they need to utilize all three RBs, and then turn the game over to Baker....who defenses have seemed to figure out of late. They had all their weapons back and took a back seat to Atlanta's offense.

Atlanta? Not only did it take them until December 11th to realize Bijan and Pitts give them the best chance to win, they failed twice on two point conversions, in a game they should have lost by two! And? They committed 18 penalties, and damn near fumbled the ball away at the end. The radio guys all said that Tampa recovered that fumble on the last drive. If that had been ruled a recovery by Tampa? Instead of going to OT, they would have lost. All because they twice passed on the extra point that would have made it a 7 point game.

How do you go for two down 8? Dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard of. They act like since it is supposedly a fifty fifty play? That going for it and missing just automatically means you get it the next time. No idiot, it's a fifty percent chance on every opportunity that you DON'T get it.

Two horrible coaching staffs, IMO. Atlanta is just ridiculous, and it seems to be regardless of who coaches because they got rid of Arthur Smith and STILL believed that they had better weapons than Pitts and Robinson. Bijan is a step below Gibbs, IMO, in the race for best back in Football. And I'd take either one of them in a heart beat. Same for Pitts. Pitts isn't an all around TE, but there are very few more talented pass catchers. And going into last night he had one TD on the year!

My fear is that he will get killed and then Warren Beatty will run out onto the field, take over his body, and win the game. :D

So you know how we talk about other teams getting so beat up by the Hawks that they suck the next game? Well, the Failcons after their beatdown from us went out there last night on a short week, rolled up almost 500 yards of total offense and won. Last weekend the Viqueens after their beatdown from us pulled off the extremely rare reverse shutout.

So what you're basically saying is Seattle is simultaneously the best and worst thing that's happened to those teams and, ultimately, the entire NFL. Am I reading the tea leaves correctly?

Let's see what Rivers thinks come monday from his wheelchair in the ICU. I just cannot imagine a world where he can handle the speed of this defense. Seattle gonna load up to stuff the run and force 'ole man rivers to beat them, I suspect. I've always liked Rivers. I just don't want him to get bludgeoned (too badly :D ).
