If the alternative is to bring in another platoon player we'd have to give something up for, yeah, probably.

I still think there are other alternatives available rather than giving up young players for weak bats. And I don't even care about Cjintje.

I have a friend here who is the consummate Dodger fan. He thinks the Dodgers will swoop in and get either Marte or Donovan simply because they are willing to outbid Jerry. Probably true. Why do I have the feeling we are going to come up a dollar short again? Seems to me we just aren't ready to really swim in the deep end.
