I think he realized he fucked up. The agent worked the deal with the U W and this dirtbag and his family went after more. The Huskies are giving him a chance to save face. I say fuck him.

But also remember - he's a kid - probably has a 'crew' of hanger's on in his ear telling him stupid shit. Remember how clueless we all were at 21 - while thinking we knew it all. Part of the reason kids are more clueless today, harder to coach today, more helpless today? Is because it is excused. If he wanted to find the best deal possible? Don't sign a deal to come back. What was Washington supposed to do with this late notice? Who are they going to bring in?

1. Don't sign a deal if you don't intend to honor the deal.
2. KNOW WHAT THE DEAL SAYS. He signed a profit sharing deal that stated he could not enter the portal. A few days later he announces he is entering the portal. Douchbag move. I don't care what his fucking age is or who is in his ear.
3. Don't announce that you are reneging on a deal during the memorial service for an athlete at your school that most of your team mates had the fucking character to show up for. I don't go to Washington, I knew when the memorial service was and at what time.

Watching these kids fuck up and just saying "oh well, they are kids" is why they continue to fuck up. Hold them accountable.

When I was playing ball, my parents caught me drinking. I had to walk into the AD's office and tell him. I served a suspension.

A couple of years ago, I had two starters cut class early to go get coffee before the game. The teacher told the AD, and I was forced to bench them for a game. One of the parents called me and the AD and said she had told her daughter to leave early because she needed her to run an errand for her.

Complete bullshit, but trying to cover up for "a kid being a kid". That kid a year or so later also lost a college scholarship. I wonder why? Maybe because she was never held accountable for her actions and every fuck up was excused?

He wants to make 4 or 6 or 7 million dollars, but get treated like every other 19 year old? His choices are grow the fuck up if you are playing big boy sports for big boy money, or just be a kid, don't play college sports, don't make millions of dollars. Then you can fuck up all you want.

1. Don't make millions of dollars playing football
2. Pay for school with your own money, or take out a loan.
3. Work a job while you are going to school so you can afford room and board

Playing QB at the U of W for $4 million a year is a privilege, not a right.
