NFL free agents
NFL free agents
I know we have a lot of money to spend so kinda brainstorm mode.

For reference who is available and a little background.
#1 resign Clowney he is in his prime and legit.(#7) overall FA with an 88 overall grade
#2 team him with another elite edge. Some suggested a trade with Denver and it always takes 2 to tango so one of (#17)Shaq Barret,(20) Erik Armstead, Yannick N(18), Robert Quinn (#46)
#3 I think other than Clowney Jefferson and Kendricks would be good to bring back and I am not really excited for too many others I think Reed(#49)indicated he wanted out. Oh, edit Hollister should be a cheap return as well.
#4 I think Gordon added elite talent but probably just can't deal with his demons so the legendary Card flys North for a Superbowl title run welcome Larry Fitz. I think he is a class act and is still one of the best on 3rd down. Those hands are clearly HOF and would give 3 stud receivers plus Dissly!
#5 #61 on the list is 30 something DT NDamakung Suh.
To sum it up: Clowney, Arik Armstead, Suh, Kendricks, Jefferson added on to Defense.
Offense gets well Fitz and retains Hollister. I have not given much thought to the Oline which has some decisions to make. The list:

Ifedi, Fant, Iupati, Hunt
In addition, Derrick Henry is available so Carson and Penny's health projections are important.
Just a few ramblings.

Re: NFL free agents
Has Reed really indicated he doesn't wanna return. We need a strong 3 tech disruptor. Do we target that in FA or Draft? If Gordon somehow becomes available I see no reason why we should't bring him back. Henry is not going anywhere. Would he be great but you gonna pay him top 5 RB money. I agree on Kendricks as well as guys like Woods too. Need run defenders too. In terms of rushers what about Fowler? We definitely need some speed on the other side opposite Clowney.Hanjag wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:10 pmI know we have a lot of money to spend so kinda brainstorm mode.

Word is Reed was insulted by the low offer. I was insulted that he misses six games and sucked in the other ten.

They haven't made Reed an offer yet.Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 11:01 pmWord is Reed was insulted by the low offer. I was insulted that he misses six games and sucked in the other ten.

That's why I said "word is" because I can't find the article...so wasn't sure if it was some guy speculating or what.ThePro wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 11:07 pmThey haven't made Reed an offer yet.Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 11:01 pmWord is Reed was insulted by the low offer. Re: NFL free agents
Reed's unhappiness is not directed at the Hawks, he tweeted that he is unhappy with the projections of what an offer could be, thinks its disrespectful...

Re: NFL free agents
yeah, its seems to be getting reported that way, Moore does it there, that it means he isn't going to want to resign with the Hawks, I fail to see the connection
