Kelenic has be a bit on edge these days. If he doesn't hit in ST he is out of professional baseball.

My overwhelming (and perhaps unfair) impression of Baty is that he's been a disappointment. He's had one decent season but there's enough there statistically to think he might trend towards being a useful player for the long term. This is where it would be helpful to have a strong scouting organization with people that you trust that can give you a better sense of the intangibles with a given player.
Numbers are almost identical to Kelenic’s 2023.
So you're agreeing with me?
Mhm.

I think last year was fluky. Same with Jo Adell.

I don't think comparing every player we have doubts about to Jarred Kelenic makes much sense.

Well after last night the M's are back to playing second fiddle and being the only team never to make it to the dance but maybe this year because we added Rob Refsnyder, Jose Ferrer and Andrew Knizner. btw where did those guys land in the MLB top 100 players list?

Garver still unsigned. Wouldn't be surprised if he just retires.

I was thinking about all of our amazing off season plans. Trying to remember who had us adding Knizner, Ferrer and Refsnyder. I did mention Refsnyder before we signed though.

Fan-authored offseason plans are a waste of time.

Similar to prospect evaluations that NEVER come true.

Don't let Seattle Or Bust see that, especially if he's starting his cycle and ran out of Midol.

There will always be misses in prospect evaluations. I don't know what that has to do with fans playing pretend GM. You're comparing apples and orangutans.
