Jorge Polanco deal took multiple years to get done. I'm sure they could decide between Hoerner, Donovan, or something else that we haven't heard yet. They're being patient. I'm cool with that. Pitchers and Catchers haven't even reported yet. Chillax homie!

He said this in terms of re-signing Geno the other day. I'd say that's pretty accurate as well as indicating it's unlikely to happen

I don't know why Geno would be a problem for the roster, unless it was a multi year deal... which might be where they're apart.
Just throwing some cash at him on a one year deal to hope he comes in and does better than Ben Williamson seems like a decent bet though.
