JC might turn out to be a good MLB pitcher but he's not a sure thing and he's years away. Peete looks like a project who probably won't pan out. Williamson is weak. Donovan is one of the best second basemen in the game.

We give DiPoto a lot of grief, but he's actually the best GM we've had since Gillick.

I think the Rays are sending the comp pick to the cardinals. basically the M's traded Williamson Peete and Cijntje for Donovan and then the cards flipped Williamson for Ledbetter and a comp pick.
