Even the 41 point win, they had sub-300 yards of total offense, Darnold only throwing for 124 yards. 26-0 win over the Vikings... Darnold had just 128 yards passing. The SB was marred by stalled drives. NE did not respect our ability to throw a football deep at all... a better passing O beats the Pats by 40. The Rams games were nice, but it was also noted that they were one of the worst defenses in football down the stretch.
Again, disagree. They played the offense they needed to in both 9er games. Looking at yards in the playoff game is dumb. They scored on a kick return and the defense kept giving us short fields. And, for the Love of God, how many people are going to with a straight face continue to bitch about the Vikings game? Fuck dude, that game was over in the first quarter and ended up 26 to fucking ZERO. What logical reason did they have to turn it loose? He had to turn it loose against the Rams, and low and behold? We won both of those games.
OK, so Sam should have asked them to move the ball back so he could gain more yards to make you happy? LOL It isn't pretty, it don't score Fantasy Points, but this team played the style of football that they needed to play. And they won a title. When they add to get aggressive? They were capable.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Wed Feb 11, 2026 11:04 pmOften times, the defense was our best offense... giving us short fields. My point is why not try to evolve the pass game so we're a juggernaut without a weakness? Not that it would happen, but Jefferson more or less requested a trade today... saying he wants to play with a QB he feels comfortable with.![]()
And that Jefferson guy sure seemed pretty comfortable with the guy that was there the year before. Remind me again who that was?
