Puke. Anywhere that a 43 year old former barista that lives at home can be elected as Mayor? Who the Hell would voluntarily come here? I'm just hoping that the Allen's can somehow keep the team. I find it odd that he had the clause written that way!? If Paul hadn't bought the Seahawks we'd most likely be talking about how both the NBA and NFL aren't here. Why he decided to make sure his estate couldn't keep the team after he died seems odd to me.

Because it's not her money. She wasn't married to Paul, she was his sister. Paul left his money in an estate to be used for charity. The Seahawks were only one piece of it. And I think it's pretty clear what was most important for Paul Allen and it wasn't owning a football team

She's been in control of the estate but it's not hers, it was his will. I'm curious where the money goes.

Jody Allen has controlled the Seahawks and the Portland Trail Blazers as the estate's chair in the wake of her brother's death. Paul Allen's will dictated that both teams were to eventually be sold, with all estate proceeds going to philanthropy
