The Seahawks are re-signing FB and special team standout Brady Russell to a two-year deal, a source confirms (
@TomPelissero
was first). Russell led Seattle in special teams snaps last year and is considered the captain of that unit.

The Seahawks re-signed backup S AJ Finley, the team announced.

The 2023 UDFA joined Seattle as a waiver claim late in the '24 season. He was having a nice offseason last year before he suffered a knee injury in August that required surgery.

So Jake Bobo gets tendered after all. Important note here is that the $3.52M is not guaranteed.
Field Yates

@FieldYates
The Seahawks are tendering restricted FA WR Jake Bobo.

The original round RFA tender is worth $3.52M.

Another team can sign Bobo to an offer sheet and Seattle has the right of first-refusal. If no offer sheet, Bobo can play on the tender/extend.

The Seahawks had the NFL's best special teams in 2025 -- and according to ESPN Analytics, it was not close. Stoll was an underrated part of that. You probably did not hear his name mentioned once on the broadcast, which is always a good thing for long-snappers.

The Seahawks are bringing back OL Josh Jones on a one-year deal, a source confirms (
@TomPelissero
was first).

Jones stepped up big-time down the stretch, starting the final three regular-season games for Charles Cross and playing through two injuries of his own in Week 18

If dumpster diving is a 1 and Walker is a 10 he is probably a 5. Not bad for a start.

I wouldn't have given Walker that contract but I really don't understand why they didn't franchise him. They have the cap space this year and it would haven given them some insurance while Charbonet recovers without the potential of the contract becoming an Albatross down the line. After signing Shaheed and Jobe, they still have 42 Million of cap space left. Unless they are going to trade for a big contract, I don't see how giving Walker 14.5 Million for one year would have limited them from anything else they had in mind for this off season. In my opinion you cant go into the season with Holani, McIntosh, Jones and a possible rookie out of the draft as your only options. I would think that they will be forced to trade for somebody established at this point.
He didnt want to be there
