Terms of the FAs, serms they've all committed at this point and at about what Walker got, $12-14 MIL. Maybe JS did fuck up. So we don't have a RB next season, big deal. Maybe they should bring Grubb back

Re: Running backs in the draft
So what's left in the bargain bin? Sorry if this is supposed to be a draft thread. I think it's going to be some of both
Brian Robinson might be interestingNFL insider, Mike Garafolo has hinted at the Seahawks keeping tabs on the market for former Buccaneers back, Rachaad White.
Rachaad White brings to the table a multifaceted skillset that includes pass-catching and pass-protecting skills
This seems like the guy to circle right now, as there are indications from people who know things that the Seahawks are honing in on him. New OC Brian Fleury was on the staff for the team that traded for him last offseason, and he seems at least moderately capable of handling the responsibilities of a back in a Shanahan-style offense

Another thing to consider are the compensation picks, maybe four at this point. Which would give them twelve picks next draft. By waiting until players being released for cap reasons to get busy he's preserving all those picks

I am actually looking forward to see what McIntosh can do with the opportunity. He sure as hell is going to have one. Its like all of our other RBs are at that the World Baseball Classic but instead of for a couple weeks, the entire season. lolDonn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 5:47 amTerms of the FAs, serms they've all committed at this point and at about what Walker got, $12-14 MIL. They both won executive of the year. That kinda was my pointMichael K. wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 2:27 pmToo funny. I stopped reading at the part that we wanted the guy that won NFL executive of the year to be like Jerry Snake Oil.

Jerry Dipoto and Executive of the Year go together like Peanut Butter and Motor Oil.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 10:59 pm

Dipoto is not likeable but I believe he's a pretty smart GM. If you don't want to give him credit for that it's fine with me. I think you have dipoto on one hand unlikable and JS on the other hand very likable. Dtrain's angst over the Walker situation in my mirrors his concern with some of Dipotos moves except for the personality aspectsMichael K. wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2026 2:16 pmJerry Dipoto and Executive of the Year go together like Peanut Butter and Motor Oil.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 10:59 pm

Only saving money in the NFL is based on a League mandated cap, while Seattle saving money is self imposed budget restraints coming down from a bunch of rich fuckers that seem to only care about being just good enough to keep people coming.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2026 4:01 pm

Coming off ACL tear just like Charb. Can’t expect a lot. Especially not a speed back but very elusive/shifty coming off acl.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 3:15 pmI am actually looking forward to see what McIntosh can do with the opportunity.
