Has to be cheap or after the draft. They do t want to give up comp picks. That’s why no free agent signings. Oh and have to pay JSN and spoon.
Paying BOTH requires a LOT of sacrifice. We shall see if it is worth it.....

OK, so here's another article implying Charb might be ready sooner rather than later. This one seems to be about JS comments, the earlier one was MM. It's really unclear but a couple of things.

JS
He said the outlook was “very positive,” adding that Charbonnet is such a pro that, “if it was up to Sharps he probably would have just braced it up and played the last two games” Schneider also praised Charbonnet’s professionalism, work ethic and approach, calling him “one of the most professional players” he has been around.
There's that, there will be points during the off season that could indicate it's possible it's a sooner rather than later deal
The next meaningful checkpoint probably will not be a flashy public declaration. It will be whether Charbonnet is participating in portions of the offseason program and how Seattle continues to address running back depth through the draft and the rest of free agency

I totally believe that Charb is the type of kid who will fight hard to get back as soon as possible, but as
a fan, I've waited for players to get back so many times and waited some more that I'm going to go ahead
and say he will not get back until we are sick of waiting.

I'm just curious if it's affecting JSs RB decisions. Are they unrelated or is there a connection in terms of the seriousness of the injury

I think JS is counting on Emmanuel Wilson and Holani (not necessarily in that order) carrying the freight and that
will be enough. He might take an RB in the draft, but he won't reach.

OK, I'll wager he takes one in the draft, he's got one in mind now

Wilson tiptoes into the end zone for a TD, he does look like a load

Wilson pass blocking
What’s the key to blocking an edge monster like Burns?

“Not being scared, honestly,” Wilson said.

I guess Brock thinks there is something still missing from the Hawks RB broom closet. No fast RBs. Take a look at the "highlight" they show of the new guy. Wow, amazing he scored a TD after contact. Has this ever happened in the NFL before. I can't believe the Packers would just dump such an amazing RB for nothing. lol

Here is the other possibility that JS could have said and perhaps it will make you realize what a meaningless fluff piece that is:
He said the outlook was “very negative,” adding that Charbonnet is such a amateur that, “if it was up to Sharps he probably would have just retired” Schneider also criticized Charbonnet’s lack of professionalism, lame work ethic and approach, calling him “one of the least professional players” he has been around.
As for the second part, they literally said he will NOT be participating in any way this Spring. If that dude is practicing 3 months after surgery I will be happy to eat a crow the size of a B52 Bomber.
