The NBA is already dead, so there's that.

OK so for people who have DirecTV Stream whats the best option I figured the only option is buy M's TV. Cable is just too damn ridiculous all those channels for that price.

This makes it seems like you have to authenticate through MLB.TV APP to sign into the channel on youtube tv. Just insanity that there is no clarity. I will just cancel obviously if it is free on you tube.

That is Saying that if you have a provider that includes the M's you can also log onto the MLB app with an authentication code from your provider.

Why would anyone get the T Mobile app. All M's games are blacked out.

Here's useless speculation that will have even less significance by tomorrow, I'm predicting YouTube TV will not have the Mariners channel.

Reason: Padres and Diamondbacks went through the same transition last year and their MLB-managed channels didn't make it to YouTube.

YTTV dropped the MLB network in 2023, which is probably related. So, until YTTV renegotiates with MLB, it probably won't have the Mariners channel.

It's a minor bummer, because I'd like to self-contain TV into one app, and flip channels during games, but not a big deal to switch over to the MLB app for Mariners games. And the $99? I'll hit the streets and earn it the hard way.

I read in several Reddit threads that the Padres were on Youtube TV last year.

Again, why would a single soul pay MLB.TV $99 if they can watch it for free on streaming services or Cable????

if by some miracle it is on youtube.tv I will just cancel. Dude I talked yesterday I could do that no prob but I didn't because the games are blacked out on the T mobile free app.

My God I will it was 1980 and I could just turn on KSTW and and listen to Dave and Wes Stock call the games on channel 11, one of our 4 channels on our Zenith rabbit ear TV.

I apologise for being a lightweight last season.

Give this link a click when you are logged into MLB if that's how you watch your baseball.

https://www.mlb.com/tv/stats/my-stats

Last year I watched 77 regular season games and 181 hours on the app, we were 44-33. I watched 29 teams, but never saw a Cardinals game.

I only saw 162 HR and only 23 of Cal's.

Fascinating stuff.

How is cable or a streaming service (I assume you mean YouTube TV, Fubo, etc.) free? If all I want are M's games, the Mariners package for $99 is a screaming deal.
