Why does this team flat out refuse to play small ball in situations where there's a runner on second with no outs with the game on the line? It's like they don't understand the concept of moving runners over in that situation. It's fundamental baseball for fucks sake. Why is this never stressed with this team? I've posted about this every fucking year, and every year it's the same thing.

You saw the Angels do it all game long, and both times in extra innings. And guess who won?

Dumbest organization in sports.

That is true. We cannot execute right now. This team is flailing early heading towards last place facing 3 lethal pitchers hopefully today was a sign bats are waking up!!!

Big three 3 for 15 with a double and two singles and that might be the best game they've had cumulatively. Bunch of pussy bitches.

Throw in their first outing from a starting pitcher that failed to go five innings, and you have an assortment of reasons for defeat while inexcusably dropping a series to a team that will likely lose 90-plus games.
Divish watched this series and thinks it's the Angels that will lose over 90 games? Jesus. Have a good year and all of a sudden this organization has changed it's stripes? Sorry, that is a bad team that took the field so far this year, and I'm not talking about the Guardians, Yankees or Angels. This Mariner team reminds me of so many others that flopped because they couldn't handle the expectations of a city desperate for a winning baseball team. Can't hit, can't play small ball, defensive miscues and an "Ace" that can't get passed the fifth inning. Yeah, the Angels are the team that might lose 90.

Wake me up when they fire Dipoto. Yesterday was the last game I'll watch for some time. I've watched two games, and they were pathetic in both.

Pitching overall has been pretty good. The offense though is held back by Julio and Cal not hitting. Julio is especially frustrating because we see this every year where he's just dogshit at the plate to start the season.

I don't get the deal with Cal. Was benched for the 2nd half of the WBC because his plate appearances were generally awful, then strikes out in his first 8 at-bats of the season. How iz that even possible for a crappy hitter let alone an mvp candidate just a few months ago. I'm starting to think we have another head case here.

To me, Naylor is a head scratcher.

He’s been traded four times, for not much, and in eight years has but 8 WAR.

Curiously, Cleveland dumped him just after he hit 31 home runs and drove in over 100 runs.

Unless they wanted to separate him from his brother.

And last year, all of a sudden, this lumbering ox steals 30 bases!

What’s the deal?
