How about this... I predict they trade back not once but twice!
Re: 2026 Draft contest
So trade back to say high 30s and then trade that pick. Or trade back with two different picks? Just enter the contest man. Its not hard! lolDonn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 4:40 pmHow about this... I predict they trade back not once but twice!

Yeah, I believe they've done it before, it take Michael or whoever to remember, trade down and then trade down again.D-train wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 5:24 pmSo trade back to say high 30s and then trade that pick. 2017
: The Seahawks traded their original first-round pick (No. 26) to the Atlanta Falcons for pick No. 31 and additional picks, then traded out of the first round entirely

Re: 2026 Draft contest
IIRC, they passed on Rueban Foster, not certain that is his name....and I was furious. He was a bust for the 49ers. I don't remember who else was available, but it felt like they traded back even more than twice! I do know they didn't pick in the first round that year. For some reason I thought they had a higher pick than 26, so maybe I am mixing up my years?Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 5:40 pmYeah, I believe they've done it before, it take Michael or whoever to remember, trade down and then trade down again.D-train wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 5:24 pmSo trade back to say high 30s and then trade that pick. Re: 2026 Draft contest
I think I know the answer but just for transparency and clarification:D-train wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2026 4:21 pmGoing to try to keep it simple.
1. Pick top 10 picks
2. Pick Seahawks pick
3. Pick if Hawks trade up or down or stay at 32
Points..
1 point if your top 10 guys are picked
3 points if you nail the order the guy is picked. Picking Menendez 1st gets you a TOTAL of 3 points
5 points if the Hawks trade up
3 points if Hawks stay put
1 point if Hawks trade down
3 points if you pick right position for Hawks
10 points if you nail Hawks pick (you don't get 3 for position + 10 = 13) 10 points total
"...if you pick right position for Hawks" means LB or QB or WB (waterboy) or RB, etc., and not move back to say, pick #44, and you nailed that position in the draft, right? So, if I was to say, we moved back to #44, and the position in the draft was #38, but the person was correct.....
Hey, there's a lot riding on what the Seahawks do this draft. For all involved, we need to make sure you didn't set up a trick question or anything like that
Some positions are hybrid, i.e., Zion Young, my choice, has been listed as Edge, DE and LB on some sites. I put him as Edge. As I said, there's a lot at stake her on the forum in this contest. we've all invested vast amounts a nothingness and hot air in this draft contest

Re: 2026 Draft contest
1) Las Vegas Raiders: F. Mendoza (QB, Indiana).
2) New York Jets: David Bailey (EDGE, Texas Tech).
3) Arizona Cardinals: Arvell Reese (LB/EDGE, Ohio State).
4) Tennessee Titans: Jeremiyah Love (RB, Notre Dame).
5) New York Giants: Sonny Styles (LB, Ohio State).
6) Cleveland Browns: Caleb Downs (S, Ohio State).
7) Washington Commanders: Francis Mauigoa (OT, Miami).
8) New Orleans Saints: Rueben Bain Jr (EDGE, Miami).
9) Kansas City Chiefs: Carnell Tate (WR, Ohio State).
10) New York Giants (via Bengals): Monroe Freeling (OT, Georgia).
Seahawks stay at 32 after not being able to find a suitable trading partner to move out of the first round and get more picks.
32) Seattle Seahawks: Malachi Lawrence (EDGE, UCF).
