Hard to complain about anything in a year you win the SB but the whole Milroe thing was definitely the most head scratching aspect of the season.
After that, and then watching an offense generate 88 yards passing just after the two minute warning in week one? I was freaking furious. Glad they proved me wrong.
Week one is just a 4th preseason game:

Pete Carroll.....lol
Well, if you remember correctly? That was the excuse made in here....I wasn't buying it. Win that game and the second Rams game isn't do or die. It all worked out in the end, but I think if the staff had it to do all over again? They wouldn't fuck around with the 49ers offensively until after they finally lost the lead.

I remember we were talking about it and that game as it turned out was a forgivable sin where they shook off the cobwebs, kept everyone healthy, and by the next week they were rolling. If there's one game I would point at as being our worst of the season it was the one against the Dolts. We should have beaten that team by about 38-16 instead of 18-16. Imagine if Myers hadn't saved our asses that day.

I guess the Athletic thinks we are sitting pretty and don't need much help? Good spot to be in if true. I'd like to see us upgrade at Center and Guard. I'd also love it if a big play WR fell.

Funny thing is? I excused that one, based on the fact that I think we did just enough to win for a reason. They felt that Indy had only one shot to win, and that is if we put the ball in harms way. I didn't think the game plan we had against the 49ers was anywhere close to good enough, and if they had a functioning Kicker?

Talk about distraction in that Philip Rivers craziness was likely a distraction. National news all week long

Maybe if they trade down into the 50s then i'd consider Price. Otherwise it's a needs-based reach.

So if teams can just find RB1s at local home shelters and encampments why in the hell is Love going to be taken with a top 5 pick and why did the Chiefs spend all that money on Walker and why did the Hawks take two RBs in the second round that were key pieces to going to and winning the SB.

It's certainly reasonable to take a RB in the second round. The question is does Price deserve it. Read an article where it was pointed out, the seahawks really like him. I'll take that as having some actual value. I think they see him as fitting their system. And I think that's important to JS. And not transferring is part of it

They lost a lot of good players. Woolen, Mafe, Walker and Bryant. And so my needs are RB, CB, Edge, IN O.L.

They have #32,64,96, and 188.

I’d be curious what you all thought about hedging our bets by perhaps taking the 5th ranked FA remaining guard Bosa.

4. Joey Bosa, Edge

2025 team: Buffalo Bills | Age entering 2026 season: 31

What he brings: Bosa has played in at least 14 games over the past two seasons after injuries limited him to a total of 13 games from 2022 to 2023. Averaging 36.3 snaps per game for the Bills, he had 5 sacks, 5 forced fumbles and 42 pressures. Bosa should be viewed as a situational rusher who can still win with speed-to-power. His effort level also leads to production late in the play.

5. Joel Bitonio, G

2025 team: Cleveland Browns | Age entering 2026 season: 34

What he brings: The 12-year pro has started 178 NFL games. He's a savvy technician who had a 96.4% pass block win rate in 2025 (third best among 65 qualifying guards), while allowing only two sacks. If Bitonio opts to return for a 13th season, he would provide both consistent play and a veteran voice to any offensive line room.

We are supposed to have at least 28.8 M in functional cap space it would seem to be that we could have at least 1 if not both for that #.
I fully expect John to sign either Bosa or Von Miller, in addition to drafting an Edge, just a matter of waiting for the June 1 deadline. Didnt sign before in order to maximize the compensatory pick haul. And if they dont get Price in the draft, better go hard after Devon Achane - what else are you saving the cap space for?
