He's hurt. And:

https://sodomojo.com/mariners-reason-fo ... -red-flags
He's "dealing with a wrist issue."

And Arkins can shove his head where the sun don't shine.

Even if you have to call him up until Donovan is back, do it. You at least add something to the position while Rivas is literally the worst hitter in baseball right now.
Arkins blocked me. Emerson was out of the lineup again last night.
He blocked me too.

He made some idiotic post about how people aren't allowed to be sad b/c his wife had cancer, and that's true sadness.

I told him he was a moron.

I hate people that act like they are so smart but they really aren't. He made some ridiculous post and I absolutely smoked him on it and he blocked me. I wish I could remember what it was.

Honestly, I do too.

For as amazing as analytics claim to be when it comes to offense, new lineup construction seems to not be doing much other than putting a bunch of strikeouts at the top of the lineup... it also hasn't seemed to add much in the way of offense to the league.

Has pitching gotten better? Sure... but the median league team OPS right now is .700. A 30-50 point drop over the last 25 years.

Fixing something that wasn't broken... only to seemingly break it. Obviously, this is a humorous post... but it has some merit IMO.

In what logical way is that a hit? Because it's unusual?
It ends up in his hand.
And what's to say, when he pulled it out of his shirt, that he couldn't slap it up in the air so Young or Crawford catches it? Then he could call it a ricochet, and it was caught in the air. The ball was still alive, wasn't it? There have been hundreds of times a line drive or pop-up hits a heel, and a different fielder catches it for an out, or 2 or 3 fielders collide, the ball bounces off a glove or a head and it's caught. That's an out.

Stupid rule interpretation...did Wilson protest the game? No.
So a ball stuck in the wall padding should be an out once a player is able to grasp it?
False equivalencies don't get any falser than this. Holy shit DB, I know you can't stop yourself from being contrarian but this is a new low even for you. Please tell us you were really drunk when you posted this.

How about just answering the question. So a ball stuck in the padding is significantly different than being stuck in a uniform? MLB doesn't seem to think so.
The play was reminiscent of when a ball got lodged in Yadier Molina's chest protector in 2017. He was just as confused as Gilbert before finding it smack in the middle of his torso

Molina and Gilbert are similar because it is on their person. The wall is not a baseball player.

OK, but in all three cases the ball is ruled out of play because it's movement has been hampered

But if a ball hits off of a wall and an OFer catches it, it isn't and out. If the ball hit Logan in the chest and then he caught it, it would have been an out.
