He's just 21.8 y.o., in A+ minors, but he does get to catch for Ryan Sloan and Kade Anderson.

One day, when they join on the same level, those two will pitch to Luke; but, probably not to Harry Ford. Speaking of Harry, for Rochester, Washington Nationals AAA affiliate, he's caught 16 games and DH'd 3 more. No HR's and his slash line is .189 \ .299 \ .230 \ .529.

Sloan should still be in Everett throwing to Luke and Luke should be promoted in the next month or June at the latest so he will be catching both of them very shortly.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Your gonna need another high leverage arm. I meant it as an &/or situation. Flip him for a bullpen piece (Duran) or another big bat.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2026 8:56 pmYou are going to trade Logan Gilbert for a reliever??? lol Come on man... I don't know what or who you are talking about with your 2nd sentence.HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2026 5:27 amI would move Gilbert for a high leverage arm in all honesty. What kind of a bat are you gonna get for him.
Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
Flipping Logan Gilbert for a freakin reliever is a fireable offense. I look forward learning to which "big bat" you are wanting for him.

Bryce Miller pitching for Tacoma: 4 IPs, 2 hits, 2 walks, 4 Ks 0 runs.
Colt: 0-2 now hitting .226 in the most hitter friendly league in the universe. Jerry's sphincter tightening. lol
Brennen Davis with another HR now with an OPS of .921.

Mike Salk made the suggestion today that Emerson and Young could be the next Ackley and Seager where the less heralded prospect ends up being massively better than the one that was hyped up all the way to Neptune.

Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
You can blame all that hype on Jerry then. As for Logan. It's just the logjam coupled with Castillo shaky streak. We're all clamoring for Kade I know. So many potential trade options. Just looking at names off the top of my head. Duran is gonna be a name that's out there again along with Kerkering & even Chapman & former M Riley O'Brien of the Cards. Still to early to rush to judgement.
Re: 2026 Prospects Thread
A LOT of differences. Not the same age or draft or round of the draft but the level of hype is similar with Colt and Ackley vs. Seager and Cole.
Colt hit a HR last night and his OPS is at .800 which is ok for the PCL but his BA is .235 and K rate now at 28% both sub optimal for a contact non power hitter that is "VERY close to making an impact in MLB" per Jerry.
