Seattle's mayor WTF

Post by DavidGee24 » Wed May 06, 2026 7:33 pm

I guess Seattle didn't learn its lesson the first time it elected some stupid libtard broad as mayor when they put Turducken or whatever her name was in office. I mean seriously, they REALLY elected a Mom's-basement woman/child like Katie Wilson to be their mayor?

Between the shit she said about Starbuck's, the shit she said about other big businesses, the shit she said about security cameras on our streets (which just identified thugs who beat up an old man but she says "puts refugees in danger", her doing everything she can to screw over the Seattle Police Department, and on top of all that actually being a Socialist, I just wonder how bad Bruce Harrell could have been to have lost to her.

On the bright side, the heckling on her Facebook page is a treat. Amazing how little support she gets there when she just got elected. https://www.facebook.com/MayorofSeattle/

Man, that was so funny when Turducken was all CHOP CHOP YAY! CHOP CHOP YAY! and Savant sent all those CHOP protestors to her house. How awesome would it have been if Turducken had walked up to Sawant and socked her right in the mouth, I would have totally respected her if she'd done that.

Surveillance cameras...i was thinking about that back with the UnitedHealthcare shooting. Yeah, it's great that they caught the guy, but man, how they are able to track you now. The current deal now are the licence plate readers.

Don't break the law and you have nothing to worry about. I got a red light ticket the first month I was here and haven't run a red light since. Great deterrent.

But if you'd been a refugee you would have been in danger.

"I view politics with amusement and don't let it dominate my thoughts!!!"

- Posts an unprompted, non-sensical ramble fest of nothing about a mayor of a city he doesn't even live in.

- Calls a woman he knows next to nothing about a "mom's-basement, woman/child, socialist (OHHH SCARYYY)" despite her having attended Oxford, forming a non-profit business aimed at improving Seattle's transportation system, including helping public transit be more affordable. Also an activist for renter's rights, fair wages, and affordable housing.

- Is a tax scam artist who plays man child softball full time.

She can start with rental cars. Cars are averaging about $140 a day coming out of SEA-TAC this summer.

How fucking ridiculous. I'm sure glad I don't live in Washington any longer, although Colorado is slowly turning into another Liberal hell hole.

"Tax scam artist" bro, you don't even know WHY you wrote that. I was wondering if you'd show your ugly libtard face on this one. She's been catching a TON of criticism from all sides, I did my research before I started this thread. None of what I've said here is false. Are there good things she can do? Maybe, she's in the process of attempting what you outlined which may or may not work and may or may not create other problems (Newton's Third Law applies to social issues too, did you know that?), but facts are facts and they don't change no matter how vigorously you gulp down that two-liter bottle of your Mommy's breast milk.

Where did you get that number? I'm seeing a lot less on Enterprise and Alamo web sites (maybe like 400 weekly with all fees for a mid size SUV, but less if you want to go for a smaller vehicle).

But ... how much does the price of rental cars at Sea-Tac have to do with the Seattle mayor? The airport and rental cars are under the control of the Port, aren't they? And the airport isn't even in Seattle.

And as a Seattle resident, I don't rent cars at the airport, so it's not a big deal. I had visitors two weeks ago and instead of renting a car they took the light rail for $3 each to where I met them.

I didn't vote for our mayor and I've got lots of criticisms of her, but this one is pretty far down the list.
