I agree with this sentiment.
However, you have been on a bender this year about young players not hitting,why? It takes some young players longer to figure baseball out. Here is a player you would have been posting how pathetic he is..... At age 23 and 24, this guy had over 1000 plate appearances in AA and had 9 HR's and a .748 OPS in those 2 years. But he kept working and at age 26, he made the Show.... in almost 200 plate appearances, had a .619 OPS and a 72 OPS+, so he really sucked.Yet he continued to work hard for the next 14 years and became a player they eventually named an award after... you might have heard of him... his first name is Edgar.
The point is give guys time to develop....yes some are like Julio and some are like Edgar, but each is unique and deserves to be screwed up by the M's on their own.
Of course, with the morons who run the front office, Edgar's might never happen again.
