Sounds crazy... but the M's best bet at the trade deadline to get better might come in trades with Houston.

So ohtani has been dominant pitching but his hitting has taken a toll. That is going to be the issue in my mind

I was talking to a coworker today, we were complaining about Cal, and I predicted he was going to break out of the slump today or the next day. Because every time he goes through a dry spell, he starts crushing foul balls into third decks right before getting his shit together. And the last couple/few games he's hit a couple giant foul balls that went 425 the wrong direction.
