I don't know... Not to be too big an alarmist but I think injuries get overlooked when it comes to shitty seasons. Is this the kind of thing that can really derail his season

Stupid to wait until his injury became so severe that he could no longer play when it was clear he was hampered by it weeks ago. But that's the Mariners.

Cal isn't going to want to go on the IL and he is in position to call shots like that.

Really hope they give the majority of starts to Pereda. At least he is a fresh face that can hit.

A catcher making it into his sixth season playing more than almost any other catcher before his first IL stint is amazing and ironically should be celebrated today.

Hopefully he comes back next month as good as new.

Damnnnnn it well could see it coming. His swings did not look right at all!! He couldent get enough on it like last year. Gonna miss him but he needs to be healthy. Hopefully gets stronger quick. Our team is so cursed with glass this season. Not fun. Garver yikes. Love to see Pereda take the job from him when Cal returns.
