So I've seen it ranked as the 14th most difficult schedule. They have only the 10th most travel miles. Really can't ask more than that
Travel miles are so over rated. People act like teams travel across country by train or Bus. The are on a plane 1.5 hours a month more than the average team. Oh the HORROR!!!!!!!

btw they play on every day of the week other than Tuesday. Pretty wild given there were only Sunday and Monday games back in the day.

Well they aren't playing in Australia, there's that. I thought of you when I was reading this, rest day differential.
This chart shows that, in relation to their given opponent each week, the Seahawks sit on the advantageous side of rest. They have a +8 net rest figure that lands tied for the 6th-highest rest differential in the league.

What is rest differential? As an example: if the Hawks played the previous week on a Sunday, and the opponent is coming off of a Monday night game, then Seattle has a +1 day’s rest advantage for that week. The +8 is the total advantage they have over the course of the season
The thing is, it's gotten so competitive with really what I believe is little difference in talent around the league. You are looking at every little advantage these days. On one hand it can seem minor, but on the other it could be the difference

But they can't control so why worry about it. Should they move the team to OKC so they can spend that 1.5 Hours a month watching movies, playing vid games, surfing the net or sleeping in a hotel instead of on a plane?

It's not controlling it, it's quantifying it. Betting lines drive a lot of it, like fantasy baseball and analytics

Scary business. lol
Over the past 10 seasons (2016 to 2025), the Seattle Seahawks have a combined record of 20-8 in regular-season games with 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET) kickoffs.

Under Holmgren it was a huge problem though. Don't know why.

For me, football is really about preparation. What sort of details can make a difference winning a road game. I commented before that MM reminds me of Don James. James was a master of preparation.

I think the interesting deal with being 11th on that list is really how it's sort of expected they are going to be at the top of it each season. 14th hardest schedule, 11th hardest travel miles. Six prime time games. Its almost like a conspiracy by the NFL to get them back to the SB :D. If I was a Rams or 49ers fan I might feel that way. They aren't going to manipulate games but they can manipulate schedules
