I want it to be simple.

I build a list of 5 groups of players - using rankings and odds.

A bit like this, but of course Rai won't be 57th.

Then we go through the order based on PGA finishing order.

Draft Order:
1st: Xpert DBA (Picks 5 players at once, 1 from each group)
2nd: baller (Picks 5 from the remaining pool, 1 from each group)
3rd: D-Train and so on down to poor me as 9th pick.

Anyone else can enter and be 10th pick, 11th pick etc.

The skill is how I build the grouping so that everyone gets a fair crack of the whip. I will also allocate a 6th player as a Wild Card to every protagonist in reverse order so that we still have 6 players each.

Ohh...except that really is not a draft that is one person gets their whole team and then the next players get what's left. A draft is where you select one player, next team selects one player, etc. In a snake draft the person picking last in the 1st rd gets 1st pick in the 2nd rd, etc. A regular draft is like MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL draft but those are used when the draft choices are based on where you finished.
