Millikin's got to have his game on for his GT tomorrow.
Early game, I think.

Glad we had Refsnyder in there or things could've really gotten out of hand.

Only lost by one. Phew.

Even the worst manager in past Mariners history couldn’t be this stupid
Oh cool, we get to trash Maury Wills. When he was doing the radio broadcast he had all the answers to success for every player on the club.

Didn't realize they'd used Castillo pretty much how I thought they might stack Miller and Hancock to conserve innings.

Have to give them credit, I didn't think they had the scones to move that salary to the bullpen.

Will be interesting to see if they self-impose a limit on Hancock by the end of the year after skipping this opportunity to limit his innings by stacking another starter with him.

Miller probably needs it while building up his pitch counts anyways.

We'll see if Castillo really is in the bullpen. This to me was more how you do a piggyback. They used Castillo like that to keep his pitch count up. As opposed to a maximum effort one inning deal

Isn't it another left-hander tomorrow? We're probably boned.

I just checked, it's not a lefty. We should be able to score 2.

And why in the hell would they do that? In case of injury? Well they have Kade waiting in the wings in that case. Team needs to change its name to the Moroners.....

They wanted to keep Castillo's pitch count up so that he can keep sucking for them on a regular basis.

How many of us get to start a Game Thread on our birthday?
I'd say the likelyhood increases when winning streaks are as rare as they are with this team.

Bryce Miller will start tomorrow for the Mariners, and Luis Castillo will piggyback him out of the bullpen, Dan Wilson just said. It’s possible they use a pivot reliever between them, too.

And that's what they did... They could be keeping his pitch count up to try and trade him
