I like the idea of getting Olsen or another vet TE. If he can be had for 4-5mill and no more than that - then I say get him. Russ is in his prime and really forces us to go all-in on the offense. Get a TE to backup Dissly and a legit WR like Diggs via trade or someone else. 3 legit WR's, 2 good TE's and a power back like Carson and our Offense will overwhelm teams.

Not sure Diggs is going to accept a reduced roll, and I am not ready to push DK down the depth chart. I am curious about Emanuel Sanders? They talked about him this morning on KIRO. Maybe he would also not be interested in being a 3rd option, but he would sure help us out. The thing I liked about adding Josh Gordon was it seemed to me that would allow Lockett to play in the slot some more...his body type seemed built for that. Maybe they did that some, but it didn't seem like a lot. If Sanders becomes the slot, how dangerous would we be?

Of course, we would probably ask him to block all the time and he would be pissed in about four weeks!

I agree. I think he was grossly underused. It's almost as if we thought the only route he could run was a slant!

What I liked about him was his unselfishness and willingness to block. They were starting to open it up a little bit.

Yep, I agree. And no way to know, but it sure seemed he fit right in. My guess is we would welcome him back.

There isn't but when the NFL commissioner says on national tv they want to "help" Antonio Brown .

There are no reports of Gordon using racial slurs at GM. There are no rape accusations against Gordon. There are no videos of weird behavior by Gordon. There are no videos of Gordon throwing candy penis at the police and swearing at them and the mother of his children in front of his kids. Josh Gordon wasn't arrested for assault.

If the NFL is going to reinstate that asshole. They need to let the Hawks have Gordon. I think a QB and a coach from Boston used their connections to get Gordon suspended so they didn't look foolish for releasing him .

how can anyone dare to hope for Gordon getting reinstated - after how many chances has he blown? i have to think at this point he would have to face a full season out. anything less, then i agree, worth keeping around at minimum cost.

four of them...Nobody seems to be willing to make a prediction. There is the aspect of what would be good for him, what would be considered good for him, not so much a year suspension as a punishment but more would it help him to focus on his issues. Looking at his future, the first major issue that has to be resolved - one that the NFL won't take lightly - is whether or not Gordon deserves another shot. He's been allowed to return to play on a conditional basis four times previously and hasn't been able to stay clean.

With two suspensions in two years, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Gordon's latest mishap serves as the last straw for the league. In fact, it could be argued such a conclusion is probable.

Assuming that doesn't wind up being the case, Seattle would then have to determine whether re-signing Gordon would be prudent, and it'd be a conflicting decision. His talent is undeniable, but as Carroll commented, playing football again shouldn't be a top priority and a myriad of factors would have to be examined closely to make the right call.

what i dont understand, especially with our injuries last year, is why they didnt use Dickson - was he really not healthy enough to play? thought i heard him saying that he was ready to go, just the team not agreeing. regardless, i'm all for signing Olsen for the $5-6 M range that Clayton thinks is what he can expect. also like to see a run at RT Bryan Bulaga. Spotrac slots his market value at 3 years/$30M, not too much for a quality starter, especially when you subtract Ifedi.
