It's an asinine concept. Why would you pull a starter throwing a shutout at 68 pitches so that you can burn another (better) starter in the remaining 5 innings? Were they trying to appease Miller? If so that just indicates (along with Castillo's reaction to being pulled) that neither pitcher is on-board with sharing a start.
