I expect to see Arenado starting tonight. Seattle native Corbin Carroll got his first hits at T-Mobile last night. Corbin's high school Lakeside has other noted alumni, Adam West (Batman) and Microsoft giants, Bill Gates and Paul Allen. I went to the wrong school. I hope we can secure the series win tonight, but it won't be easy. As I said yesterday, this lineup from Arizona is challenging, hard to strike out, plenty of hard contact, they don't chase, they run up pitch counts, and they have speed on the bases.

Playing at 7pm on a sunny Saturday is so asinine. Does any other team do this regularly?

It's f-ing ludicrous. Night baseball was invented so people that worked Monday-Friday could go to games. Its Saturday today.

Today there are 9 day games and 6 night games.

BTW I agree. Afternoon baseball in Seattle is a real treat and I wish there were more of it. On the other hand, I'm almost always doing something outdoors on my days off. Maybe I'm the demographic the Mariners marketing geniuses are going after.
