Welp, Julio's 10 HR may left him with an OPS over .900 and a slugging near .600 for the month.
Still needs to turn some of the K's into walks as the OBP is low for the BA and slug, but that's a good sign.

Julio is an aggressive hitter, he just is. I doubt that changes much. He's going to get his fifty walks this season along with 150 strikeouts and his thirty plus home runs.

Aggressive does not negate the potential to be smart.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2026 5:59 amJulio is an aggressive hitter, he just is. I doubt that changes much. He's going to get his fifty walks this season along with 150 strikeouts and his thirty plus home runs.
Arozarena is an aggressive hitter with a .370 OBP... why? Because he's finally decided to take pitches where they're pitching vs swinging for the fences every AB.
Julio would be a much better hitter if he stopped trying to turn on pitches to the outer half. Arozarena has 29 hits to right field vs Julio's 13.

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!
And a shutout, no less. We're not counting that "run" in the ninth.
