Dispatch the freakin' Mets getaway G.T. ~ 12:40P.M. ~ 6.3.26

This may be the toughest matchup in almost 2 weeks. Peralta's not quite at the performance level as his last 3 years at Milwaukee, but 85% Freddy is better than 100% of some of the pitchers we've been facing for a while.
He strikes out a lot of hitters but he also gives up the long ball.
Don't be swinging for the fences, you in-the-groove Mariners. Go for solid contact and don't chase shit.

I predict a 7-6 Seattle victory in...WHAT?!?!?!...10 innings.

Josh Naylor has returned. Wisdom on the bench waiting for another chance; he rose to the occasion last night.
~
Josh Naylor's back, and Mets're gonna be in trouble
(Hey-la-day-la, Josh Naylor's back)
When you see him comin', better cut out on the double
(Hey-la-day-la, Josh Naylor's back)

Hey, he knows Mets that you've been tryin'
And he knows that you've been cryin'

He's been gone for such a long time
(Hey-la-day-la, Josh Naylor's back)
Now he's back, and things will be fine
(Hey-la-day-la, Josh Naylor's back)

Great that Pereda is in the lineup and when Cal gets back, Garver should be gone. Pereda has hit well in the minors the last few years and even when he was hitting under .200 for us he was swinging the bat well.

Wisdom had his moment last night, and let's just thank him and then send him on his way.

Yes totally agree he's back in the lineup for a Day game after a night game which is rare. I have to commend them for that. I'm honestly shocked and pleasantly surprised me on belief.

That's the goal, right? All are expected to step up and have their moment. Mainstays are expected to have consistent moments and step up daily.
Unfortunately, M's have let the team and fans suffer by letting underperformers or underdeveloped players stay too long.
This year finally feels a little bit different.
Colt and Cole in.
Rivas out.
Pereda in.....Garver?
I'm not holding my breath, but I see a bit of light at the end of a long, long tunnel.

And after Cal returns, what about Donovan? Who's gonna go when he comes back? M's have talent, they dang well need to exploit it.

Isn't Wisdom a better defensive 3b than Donovan and JP. He may be needed once Emerson moves to SS.

Wisdom isn't a Major league baseball player. His days are numbered. As for Donovan, I have no idea what they are going to do with him other than play him four days a week giving guys days off that don't need days off....
