Laughed at for what?

A 50 year old man who travels to play softball and has a stupid catch phrase that nobody cares about?

That’s what I’m supposed to be worried about?

Can you tell us more about how you went 3-5 next time? The geriatric fielders I’m sure were impressed.
3-5? That's a dogshit game for me, kid. I'd bet that you couldn't even do that in a co-ed rec league game. Ten times out of ten people who shit talk softball suck at it. If you actually saw these 50-and-over players play, especially in the major-plus division, you'd be amazed. Michael K has played the game too and can probably attest to this.

Pereda you dummy...

Looks like the Mariners are dialled out of this one.
Creating traffic but afraid to let them go. Ugly game. Hopefully this is the only one for a while!!

I got hurt and had to hang up the cleats awhile back. Actually, based on my Facebook memories? It was ten years ago last night!

I used to get asked to play in the 50 and over stuff, once I turned 50 a few years ago, but I can promise you I can't compete at that level anymore. Those guys are freaking nuts. My buddies that play are traveling all over the Nation to play in Challenge Cups or some shit like that. And I think they can swing the Senior bats right? Fucking scary shit. I played LF, so I'd have been fine, but who the Hell would pitch to those monsters swinging those bats!?

Very poor play by the M's who showed up for the game, but were no where near ready to play. Time to go to lunch. Have a nice day, boys± :D :D

I think the Mariners would be wise to trade Kirby either at the deadline or at the end of the season depending on how soon Anderson is ready.

Man, Naylor is a HORRIBLE defensive first baseman, possibly the worst we've ever had. It's not going to be long before he has to be our DH. That's why his WAR is so low, to make himself worth it he needs to have an OPS in the .800 range.
25th of 31 per FG this season. Yes, quite bad.

You're not kidding. I was playing third about a month ago and some guy who played in the Blue Jays organization smoked a line drive that curved and caught me right in the heel of my glove hand, at first I thought it was broken.

And yes, those senior bats are something else. I'm 59 and still hitting 400-footers. The only thing is they cost $ 200 and you can only hope you'll get a few hundred swings before it breaks.

You can probably at least play 50 AAA (it goes AAA, then Major, then Major-Plus), the defenses are suckier and nobody plays a five-man infield so you can do reasonably well there.
