Glad Tidings and Good Luck CDA J :!: :!: :!:

All I want for this 3-game series with the Washington SENATORS is a Mariner Sweep!

We're facing Zach Littel who started with the M's. 4 minor league seasons. I had high hopes back in 2016 (playing in A & A+ ball).
Traded him to the Yankees. Playing for 3 different teams in the NY system, in 2017 he went 19-1, yes, 19-1.
We received lefthander James Pazos. Anybody remember him? Between 2017 & 18, he relieved 119 games, no saves, managed by.....Scott Servais.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

I haven't posted on here recently. However that doesn’t mean that I haven't been watching. A few things that I see this team needs to do immediately to get better ASAP:

-Get better balance in their lineup. They need another RH bat. Getting Raleigh back will help, but its not enough Find a way to acquire another effective right handed hitter, because LHP's are death to this lineup. All of them.

-End the stupid 6-man rotation circus. You're bullpen is on fumes and barely hanging together by a thread. Your down an arm back there because you refuse to have the hard conversation with Luis Castillo. He needs to be sent to the BP, whether he likes it or not.

-Call up Kade Anderson. Its time. He has nothing left to prove. You can add a 3rd lefty to the pen and have what most Mgr.'s can only dream of. Speier, Ferrer, and Anderson ready for the playoffs sounds too good to be true.

-DFA Rob Refsnyder. Its not working. He's had almost half a season to do what he was brought here to do, HIT LEFT HANDED pitching. He doesn’t. Bye Felicia. Furthermore, you've got a logjam of Outfielders, that could be used to free up an extra spot in the banged up bullpen.

-Fire Dan Wilson. I love Dan. I always will. But he's not the answer we need right now to guide us through the playoffs or manage the game in high leverage situations.

They had Castillo in the bullpen, their piggybacking. The bullpen was rested, they were winning games. I don't know why they went away from it

Cal just hit his 4th homer in 3 games with Tacoma.

Why on earth is he not on a plane for Washington?

The Nationals have had ten games this season where they've scored at least ten runs while the Mariners have had only three and have the fewest ten-run games in all of MLB since Jerry DiPoto was hired. That's just SAD. The Nats front office is good at putting lineups out there while the Mariners continue to populate their lineup with dead spots that kill rallies.

Thankfully other than Foster Griffin the Nats have HORRIBLE pitching. Their bullpen especially is a complete shambles full of Hoppe-types.
