He pitched well at home again.
Hopefully he can figure out what he's doing wrong on the road...

So it's actually your fault! I've always felt I've been the one jinxing them all these years.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 3:24 pmOh shit, my bad. I thought they were on the road. I can't pay attention....when I start to buy in and pay attention is when the bottom falls out every year.
Is there any pitcher in the rotation that struggles in T-Mobile? If so maybe they should stop letting Woo start games on the road and use that pitcher instead, but not at home since they have an extra starter.
They're only paying Garver a million this season but I can see this ownership still trying to get something out of the 24 million in sunken cost.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 1:39 pmThe answer is easy. Money and ego. They refuse to admit, even though it is obvious to everyone on the outside, that Garver isn't worth the money.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2026 9:04 pmYou know what would be a big improvement in our lineup? Pereda instead of Garver. Why is it that a bunch of shlubs like us know this and people who are paid millions of dollars don't?
Until his last start Gilbert was much better on the road this season, but that was an outlier in T-Mobile history.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 4:16 pmIs there any pitcher in the rotation that struggles in T-Mobile? Weird, baseball reference has him at 1 million and they don't prorate (I checked Bryce Harper's salary to make sure), Google says 2.25 million. We're not paying him the league minimum? He should be like Jake Taylor and when asked by people what he's making, mumble "The league minimum".D-train wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 5:12 pmPretty sure it's 2 millionDavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 4:18 pmThey're only paying Garver a million this season but I can see this ownership still trying to get something out of the 24 million in sunken cost.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 1:39 pm

I was thinking it was close to $3M. But I just remember being disappointed because it was enough that I knew they wouldn't cut him if he sucked again again.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 6:20 pmWeird, baseball reference has him at 1 million and they don't prorate (I checked Bryce Harper's salary to make sure), Google says 2.25 million.
