I think the only reason Dan got the job is because he agreed to be Dipoto's mindless bitch executing moves based solely on what the statistics say SHOULD happen.

Servais got out of line and stopped doing the mindless robot moves Dipoto demands so he let Servais be the scapegoat and brought in Dan with his arm pre-installed up that puppets backside.

Finally score more than three runs and Wilson totally clowns it away. How in the hell do you end up with Rucker and Simpson (who shouldn't even be in an MLB uniform) pitching the 8th inning? You can make the argument today that the manager literally took a win off the board.

Couldn't agree more. It also saved Dipoto's job, because who was going to fire the GM when they just hired a manager?
