In both 2024 & 2025, he had 3-5 records.

He also had ERA's in the 5's. Not sure what he did in '24/'25 matters when he's got an ERA in the low 2's now.

On his 2026 success, he has improved something, learned a new pitch, figured out a better pitch sequence. It's what all pitchers, coaches wish for every pitcher.
On the two years past, just something of note. You're right, it only matters about what have you done for me lately, and last year doesn't matter.

I remember when he came up. Top 50 prospect.

He had a 2.10 ERA through 5 starts before facing the M's last year.

M's got him for 5 runs and he was never the same after that.
