And is 8 games behind the current AL leader and 12th most wins in MLB.
12th most wins out of 30 teams. My point is people just like to complain. I think it's funny when people complain about a sports team as if they are owed something. Nobody is forcing you to root for the Mariners. Plus, who really cares? Am I jumping up and down today cuz the Seahawks won the Bowl? Nope!
Fuck off, seriously.
What's your problem? If you are so upset with the Mariners, then why don't you fuck off yourself. Just stop watching. Stop paying attention. Stop posting on the forum.

At the end of the day the people complaining are getting exactly what they want. That's why they complain but they don't stop paying attention and investing their emotion. They enjoy getting online and saying "fire the manager", "our GM sucks", etc. It's all part of how the sports suck the fans in.

I always root for the Ms, and it was thrilling watching them in the post season last year. I was disappointed when they lost to Toronto. I watch because it's fun, not to get all pissed off about it. Sorry if that bothers you, seriously.

You don't get it. People like me aren't upset with the Mariners per se. It's our team and the only one we will ever root for. We have every right to be pissed off with the people running the organization and we don't enjoy having to call them out all the time. We do it to stay sane.

Can tell Daniel's a casual fan.

Nothing wrong with that, but it's obvious he doesn't really care.

It's pretty obvious to me that this team, even fighting for the AL West lead, isn't very interesting to most of us.

I barely even check the box scores anymore. It's a team built for an early playoffs exit, at best.

"Not another dime until they have an offseason that doesn't feel two moves short!"

I'd guesstimate that's about the temperature of the forum fans these days.

It was a mistake re-signing Naylor.

It was a mistake continuing to roll with JP Crawford.

It was a mistake to not offload Castillo in the off season.

It was a mistake relying on Robles to do anything.

They needed to get more right handed... signing 35 year old platoon bats cannot be the answer anymore.

Good news is in the coming weeks... all of these things minus Naylor can be rectified if they're smart. I'm just tired of the continued mistakes. They might mean we miss the playoffs... but good God they need to sign players with more competitive drive and gritty natures.

It was a mistake to bring Cal back from Tacoma so quickly
It was a mistake to send Peredas back to Tacoma
It is a mistake to rely on Garver to do anything
What is Rucker doing on this team

The best thing the M's could do right now is call up Patrick Wisdom to play 3B.

Since 6/15... Crawford is tied at -0.5 fWAR for the worst player in baseball.

Was Wisdom good the first go around? No.

But he's also not going to be any different value-wise to Crawford's 39 wRC+ and horrid defense.

Wisdom gives you a right handed bat the roster needs with the potential to explode given his 1.288 OPS in AAA.
