I'd like to share your levity but there's no reason to believe this family has any affinity for or emotional investment in Seahawk fans and their interests. From what I can surmise the father is all about generating profits (sound familiar?) and accumulating wealth. His wife seems to be a Pramila Jayapal clone and their son we know very little about but has been a long-time 49ers fan. And likely minority owners include some slimy private equity firms (i.d. vulture capitalists) with no ties to the Puget Sound region. Yeah sounds like a great bunch that will have a passion for Seahawks football!

Per the report, the incoming ownership group led by Vinod and Neeru Khosla are talking to Sequoia Capital managing partner Mark Stevens, the private equity firm Sixth Street Partners, Carlyle Group Inc. and Dynasty Equity Partners Management about potential joining ownership. Carlyle Group Inc. and Dynasty Equity Partners Management are discussing a joint bid.

They will have to divest the 49ers share. If they are focused on money they are going to want the the team to win to maximize profits. The conspiracy that the spent $10B to sabotage the Hawks so their beloved 49ers can win more games is laughable.

Every owner wants to win, but generally not because they care about the city or its fans. And most of them have massive egos that cause them to do things that prevent it. We were lucky to have owners that grew up here (and left football decisions to people that were smarter about football than them) owning this team for 20+ years.

Do you think the son is going to tell JS who to draft and trade for. Anything is possible but that would really surprise me. Jody and Burt had multiple options but it is all going to charity. I am sure they were vetted and they just didn't go with them because it was a slightly higher offer...
