Pretty Meh trade but we gave up NOTHING so all good.

Yeah, looks like a pure salary dump for the Oriholes.

Ward having just the weirdest season. His power has disappeared to where he hit 36 home runs last year but only seven so far this year, yet he's on pace to draw about 125 walks. How the hell is that even possible?

I don't know how much he's going to move the needle, but at least he replaces Robles and Ref should be DFA'd.

If we pull off a trade for Mason Miller I'll feel a lot better. Can't see it happening, unfortunately, and I'm guessing that DiPoto thinks he solved everything with Sarasmile Dominguez.

Padres aren't trading any relievers. Especially Miller they are right there in the wc. Ward is ok. I know the Mariners always wanted him. Hopefully he plays well. Hitting behind Young then Donno then Randy then Cantzone wow

They're likely going to play him full-time and not platoon him as he's a full-time player. If management tells him "We're going to platoon you against left-handed pitching" his first reaction is probably going to be man, fuck these clowns.

Ward had a couple hot weeks to start the season but then has been a noodle bat that walks a lot. Never understand why pitchers don't throw strikes to guys with zero power.

Just read where in 30 career games at T-Mobile he has an OPS of .533, so I guess we'll have to hope he hits in road games and doesn't pull a Garver/Solano where he can only hit at Wrigley.
